Right on the shore of Mawgan Porth beach, Cornish Fresh is our little neighbourhood store by the sea \u2014 built around good food, local products, and keeping things friendly. We\u2019ve been a family-run business since 2004, when we transformed an old petrol station into what you know today as Cornish Fresh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve tried to make the kind of place we\u2019d want to walk into ourselves \u2014 somewhere easy, relaxed, and full of genuinely good products. Not over-complicated, just done properly. We\u2019re here for everything you need: from your weekly shop to last-minute beach picnics (or the shampoo you forgot to pack), or just a really good coffee and something warm to eat after your sea swim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hands-on, every day.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Everything we do is pretty hands-on. We\u2019re in early baking pasties and fresh pastries, filling baguettes, making pizza dough, setting up the coffee machine \u2014 and then the rest of the day is a mix of locals, holidaymakers, dogs, sandy feet and plenty of \u201cwhat should I get?\u201d conversations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re a small team and you\u2019ll get to know us pretty quickly. That\u2019s kind of the point.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cornish Fresh has been a family-run food market on Mawgan Porth beach since 2004. We’re built around five things — quality, service, value, passion and fun — and we try, wherever possible, to source from Cornwall’s specialist and artisan producers.<\/p>\n\n

Our story<\/h4>\n

Started in 2004, when Graham and Liz Jones converted an old petrol station into a small beachfront deli. Since 2008 we’ve been baking pizza too — now hand-stretched, woodfired, on the deck. In 2024 we extended the shop into the old stockroom, doubling the kitchen so we can make more pasties, sandwiches and salads in-house.<\/p>\n
