Our pizzas are all about good ingredients, starting with our Neapolitan-style dough — which we make in-house every single day, then leave to cold-ferment slowly. It’s key to the light, airy crusts and delicious flavour of our pizzas.
We use local ingredients as much as possible — from Kittows sausage meat on our Fennel Sausage pizza, to Cornish Blue cheese sprinkled on our Truffle Funghi — and everything gets cooked in our trusty Gozney pizza oven. What you get is hot, fresh, and exactly how it should be.
All of our pizzas are cooked to order, so during busy times there might be a short wait — but it’s worth it. Watch it all happen in front of you, grab a pint of Verdant beer or Bearded Brewery cider, and sit on the deck — or take it straight onto the beach. Good pizza, cold beer, sea air. Hard to beat.

Our pizza unit is the project of Martha Jones and her partner Hobie — two people who take their dough, their fire, and their toppings very seriously. Find them on the terrace most days the oven’s lit.
Call ahead. Or just drop by.

Cornish Fresh has been a family-run food market on Mawgan Porth beach since 2004. We’re built around five things — quality, service, value, passion and fun — and we try, wherever possible, to source from Cornwall’s specialist and artisan producers.
Our story
Started in 2004, when Graham and Liz Jones converted an old petrol station into a small beachfront deli. Since 2008 we’ve been baking pizza too — now hand-stretched, woodfired, on the deck. In 2024 we extended the shop into the old stockroom, doubling the kitchen so we can make more pasties, sandwiches and salads in-house.
